Rice Pudding

It is also called 'Kheer' that is popular in Nepal. It is similar to European rice pudding but with the addition of spices like cinnamon, cardamom, fenugreek and cloves.

Momo

Steamed Chicken Momo

The momos are steamed. These scrumptious juicy momos are filled with chicken and put in a dumpling steamer. It is served with a dipping sauce (spicey chutney recipe).

Fried Momo

These crunchy versions of momos are made by deep-frying the momo or frying it after steaming the momo. It is also served with achar/chutney.

Jhol Momo

These are steamed dumplings made with spiced chicken fillings and served with chutney. Jhol basically means liquid or having a liquid-like consistency, and Jhol Momo is the momos that are drowned in a bowl full of sauce called Jhol Achar.

C Momo is your regular chicken Momo dipped in a hot and spicy sauce. If you are willing to try something hot and spicy then, C Momo is your best answer.

Aaloo Jeera

One of the most popular and common foods in Nepal. It is prepared with potato stir-fried with cumin. It has its own unique and rich tastes.

The hot chilli, capsicum being bitter and spicy, tomatoes, onion and ketchup sweetness, chicken all bringing out a unique taste of Nepali authentic recipe is called chicken chilli.

Fried Chicken

It is a recipe, chicken fried in Nepali style, with a combination of oil, garlic, salt, pepper, lemon juice and a pinch of red pepper flakes. Serves with chutney.

Fried Sukuti

The buffalo dried meat is taken out and deep-fried or smoked or even roasted and then crushed along with spices like salt, pepper, cumin, turmeric and chilli powder.

Thukpa is a special, clear noodle soup that is made with mixed vegetables and may include meat. Pork, mutton and chicken meats that are used to make the dish.

Nepali cauliflower and potato curry are called Aaloo Gobi Chili. It is a lovely recipe that is spiced up with cumin, fenugreek, turmeric and chilli, a wonderful side dish for our Nepali feast.
